Description
In this online training course, you will learn valuable interest-based negotiation (IBN) techniques for finding creative, integrative solutions that satisfy each party's interests and needs that lead to the best possible negotiated outcomes. IBN techniques help you reach mutually beneficial agreements with contractors, internal departments, colleagues, and other stakeholders. As a bonus, the techniques you learn will even help you negotiate issues in your personal life. Once you have reviewed the book "Getting to Yes," you will complete a multiple-choice assessment. This course is required before registering for CON 7900 (Negotiation Training for Acquisition Professionals), which is a component course for DOD's Negotiation credential (CCON 019).
