Description
In this Online Training (OLT) course you will learn valuable interest-based negotiation (IBN) techniques for finding creative, integrative solutions that satisfy each party's interests and needs, resulting in the best possible negotiated outcomes. IBN techniques help you reach mutually beneficial agreements with contractors, internal departments, colleagues, and other stakeholders. As a bonus, the techniques you learn can even help you negotiate issues in your personal life!? Once you have read the book "Getting to Yes," you will complete a multiple-choice assessment. This course is required before registering for CON 7900 (Negotiation Training for Acquisition Professionals), which will be a component course for the Negotiation Credential (CCON 019), anticipated to deploy fall of 2024.
