In this Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course, participants will obtain a deep understanding of commercial acquisition definitions, processes, and resources. Students will then complete comprehensive cases studies to reinforce best commercial practices. After course completion, attendees will be able to apply commercial acquisition procedures to meet current acquisition goals.

Restriction:
  • This course is restricted to the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI) only.
Recommended Prerequisite:
  • CON 7800, Commercial Acquisition. While CON 7800 is a recommended prerequisite, if attendees have taken previous commercial acquisition courses, a micro-learning asset will be embedded within CON 7810V as a refresher.
Additional Information:
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
  • All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
  • The CLPs assigned to this learning activity may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
