Description
COURSE WILL BE DEPLOYED IN FY22.
This course addresses those skills and competencies most basic and fundamental to the contracting professional. These include general principles such as an overview of the acquisition process and how to research the regulations, as well as an introduction to fundamental soft skills and professional skills that will serve an 1102 at almost any point in their career. The Foundational Skills curriculum is required to be taken prior to Pre-Award, Award, and Post-Award.

  • Pre-work required (approx. 2 hours) / Walk-ins NOT authorized. Pre-work must be completed not later than the Thursday prior to the class start date.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.

  • CON 1100V is comprised of the following virtual instructor-led and asynchronous events:
  • Day 1, Unit 1: One 2.5 hour live session
  • Day 7-10, Unit 4: One consecutive 3.5 day live session
  • Day 17, Unit 7: One 4 hour live session
  • All other Units (2, 3, 5, 6, and 8) are self-paced
