CON 1100V Contract Foundational Skills
 Description
COURSE WILL DEPLOY IN FY22.
This course addresses those skills and competencies most basic and fundamental to the Contracting Functional Area. These include general principles, such as an overview of the acquisition process and how to research the regulations, as well as an introduction to fundamental soft skills and professional skills that will serve these acquisitions professional at almost any point in their career. The Foundational Skills curriculum is required to be taken prior to Pre-Award, Award, and Post-Award.

  • Pre-work required (approx. 1 hour) / Walk-ins NOT authorized. Pre-work must be completed not later than the Thursday prior to the class start date.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.

  • CON 1100V is comprised of 8 units of instruction. These units are either live (virtual instructor-led) sessions or self-paced learning activities. Depending on the Section/Offering of CON 1100V you register for, the scheduling of the live sessions will differ (e.g., first day has a 2-hour live session, Week 2 or 3 has a 3 ½ day live session, and week 4 has a 2-hour live session). Students must register for the CON 1100V offering that is most conducive to their schedule.
