Description
This virtual instructor-led training (VILT) is designed to ensure Software Professionals (SPs) have the knowledge and understanding of the application of the DCMA Software Acquisition Management Instruction (SAMI). This course aims to provide SPs a better understanding of how to apply DCMA SAM policy and information in the performance of their daily duties.

  • DCMA Only: This course is restricted to DCMA students only.
Additional Information:
  • Course structured to span over 3 weeks (2 weeks asynchronous learning and 1 week synchronous). The 2 weeks of asynchronous learning activities is estimated to take 16 hours. Students must download course materials from appropriate Teams for Education folder prior to course start date. Instructions will be contained in the Students Welcome letter.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
  • All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
  • The CLPs assigned to this learning activity may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
