Description
DoD’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Program is designed to protect Federal Contract Information and Controlled Unclassified Information that is shared with defense contractors. It ensures that sensitive government information is not exposed to unauthorized entities which could undermine DoD operations. DAU’s newest course, CYB 1010: Introduction to the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Program, provides the workforce with a foundational understanding of this important program. The online training course provides key background information, reviews appropriate DFARS clauses and provisions, explores the CMMC ecosystem, applicable requirements and program implementation. While appropriate for all acquisition professionals, CYB 1010 targets the training needs of those responsible for delivery of secure and resilient systems and those who determine contract cybersecurity requirements.
