Description
You will learn in this Online Training (OLT) course the definition, purpose, and utility of DoD Force Structure Costing techniques as used in the Business - Cost Estimating functional area. You will gain an understanding of how Force Structure Cost Models (FSCM) are used to assist decision-makers making capability, Service, or DoD-wide trades, and how to build a FSCM using cost estimating techniques. You will determine the characteristics of a top-level model, and how the simplicity, maintainability, insight from a Total Obligation Authority (TOA) perspective are used to support the mission. After reviewing the on-demand training at your own pace, you will be tested on your understanding of the material.
