Description
This Online Training (OLT) course introduces and applies the concept of thinking like an adversary based on the cyber attack kill chain frameworks that is critical in implementing proactive and effective cybersecurity measures to outpace the cyber threats. We will accomplish this by:
  • Characterizing general cyber attack kill chain and techniques using the Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain®.
  • Analyzing common tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) that cyber threat actors may use to execute different classes of cyber attacks on Department of Defense networks and systems using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Target Attendees
Primary learners’ example roles in the current work environment are Chief / Developmental Testers, Cyber Test Engineers, Cyber Test Directors, Cyber Risk Assessors, Information System Security Managers, T&E Leads, and System Security Engineering Leads who have met the requisite knowledge and experience requirements to perform these roles and responsibilities.

This course is also strongly recommended for Cyber T&E working group participants who require foundational knowledge in Cyber and Cyber T&E to be an effective contributing member of the Cyber T&E working group.
