This Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) teaches students how to apply risk & uncertainty analysis using the Cost Informed by Schedule Method (CISM) in accordance with the Joint Agency Cost Schedule Risk and Uncertainty Handbook. The course helps students develop reliable and credible cost estimates using numerous hands-on exercises utilizing Excel and a Monte Carlo simulation tool as well as a case study designed to develop critical thinking skills.

Required:
  • BCE 0420 Introduction to Risk and Uncertainty
  • BCE 1000 Fundamentals of Cost Estimating or Completion of both BCF 106, Fundamentals of Cost Analysis & BCF 107, Applied Cost Analysis
