Description
***This is an online Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course.***

Restrictions:
This course is restricted to DoD government civilian and military students only. DCMA students have priority in this course. Non-DCMA students may be placed in registered status if there are seats available or added to waitlist if there are no available seats.

This Virtual Instructor-Led (VILT) course provides foundational knowledge of indirect cost. Through the use of case studies, the student will engage in critical thinking, discussion, and practice exercises to refine their skills in understanding and settling Final Indirect Cost Rates. Students should be aware that CMC 2320V was developed for DCMA and uses DCMA document templates. The class concentrates upon FAR and DFARS principles which apply across all services.

Target Attendees
ACOs/PCAs new to establishing final indirect cost rates but is recommended for all ACOs/PCAs regardless of experience as it will provide for a more consistent and accurate establishment of FICRs.

Additional Information:
  • 6.5 hours of pre-VILT coursework is required to be completed prior to Virtual Instructor-Led (VILT) attendance. During a two-week period preceding the VILT segment, students are required to participate in and complete pre-VILT coursework that is integral to learning outcomes. Additional information will be provided by the instructor in the welcome messaging for each course offering.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
  • All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
  • The CLPs assigned to this learning activity may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
