CYB 5630V Cyber Table Top is equivalent to WSS 007 Cyber Table Top, see defined eligible period on the Equivalency Listing.

This virtual instructor led training (VILT) course introduces and applies the Cyber Table Top (CTT) mission based cyber risk assessment (MBCRA) methodology to help identify cyber vulnerabilities, determine mission impact and risk, propose mitigations and inform other competencies, documents and events across the DoD acquisition lifecycle. The course will establish an understanding of the threat and “thinking like an adversary”; demonstrate attack surface characterization; employ cross-competency personnel, including users, to identify and prioritize cyberattacks / vulnerabilities in a Red / Blue / White Team “wargame” mission scenario; and analyze data to report risk and mitigations in order to design and maintain cyber survivable and operationally resilient systems. Learners will participate in exercises to reinforce and apply the CTT concepts and methodology. The case studies and scenarios will build up in complexity culminating in a mini-CTT execution and CTT out-brief for a fictitious weapons system at the UNCLAS level. This course is also the first step in obtaining the certified CTT facilitator certificate from the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense Research and Engineering.
