Description
THIS COURSE WILL BE AVAILABLE IN 2nd QTR FY22.
This virtual instructor-led training (VILT) course describes the role that cost models play in the overall acquisition process. In-depth walkthroughs of the process, along with a hands-on learning experience will aid in the development of a cost model with Government Negotiation Positions. This course also illustrates the importance of cost models and Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs), and ways to gain efficiencies when creating a cost model in today’s agile environment.

Target Attendees
Civilians and military equivalents (GS-9 and above) with at least 2 years of experience in the Contracting career field. This course is recommended for Price Analysts, Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) auditors, and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).

  • CCON 018, Excel Skills for Business Credential is not a prerequisite for this course; however, taking it prior to this course will help enhance your Excel skills.
