Description
Presents the fundamentals of cost and price analysis in order to determine a fair and reasonable price.
Objectives
Familiarization with: Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), Price Indexing, Cost Volume Analysis, Overhead Rates, Regression Analysis, Learning Improvement Curves, FCCOM, Weighted Guidelines and Pre-Negotiation Objectives. Critical behaviors the participants can expect to improve are determining if a price is fair and reasonable for goods and services.
Target Attendees
  • Contracting Personnel interested in acquiring the analytical skills necessary to determine a fair and reasonable price.
  • Workshop developed for the contracting community but would also be beneficial for cost estimators, project engineers, & program managers.
  • Absolutely ideal for contracting team members who need a refresh or update on the variety of tools available for price or cost analysis.
  • Prerequisite(s)
    No required pre-requisites, however, attendees should have at least 2 years of acquisition experience
