Description
This Online Training (OLT)course will inform you how to locate the DoD SSST toolbox, maneuver within the toolbox, and show specific techniques and powerful examples on how the SSST toolbox has been utilized for reducing contracting administrative lead time by over 365 days. The toolbox is a living document encompassing over 40 plus techniques which can be leveraged to increase efficiency throughout the acquisition and modification processes. The basic principles include:
  • Obtaining the right information up front and avoiding re-work
  • Avoiding duplication of effort and taking advantage of all available resources
  • Considering materiality when making decisions about the level and depth of reviews
  • Elevating major issues in a timely manner and promoting open communication with Contractors
