Description
Build on your foundational quantitative skills learned in CCON 004 Quantitative Methods by delving into specific applications. Through a series of learning assets, you’ll focus on quantitative analysis techniques such as utilizing historical prices to determine fair and reasonable pricing. This covers adjustments for economic factors, quantity differences, terms and conditions, material variances, forecasting indices and modeling price-quantity relationships. You’ll investigate the relationship between total cost, volume, price and various factors influencing these elements. Learn concepts like revenue per unit, variable and fixed costs and profit, and delve into cost-volume-profit analysis to understand break-even points and rational pricing behaviors. Increase your knowledge of factored rates and inflation causes and types through an introduction to economic price adjustment (EPA) clauses, equitable adjustments based on inflation and contract types and the construction of EPA clauses.
