Description
|
The purpose of this credential is to help acquisition workforce members better understand the important and unique aspects of contracting for services beyond what they learned during Contracting's basic certification program. This credential requires the completion of three online training courses (CON 0130, CLC 030, CON 0640), one virtual instructor-led course (ACQ 265V), and the capstone exam. Students will learn how to apply these concepts by completing the content and associated assessments of four existing DAU learning assets (three OLTs and one VILT), and the performance-focused capstone assessment. They will be challenged in the role of contracting officer to make informed and FAR-compliant decisions when provided with various contracting for services scenarios they are likely to encounter on the job.

- Expected time to complete this credential is 38 hours.
- Predecessor Courses may not be used to complete credential requirements.
- This credential requires the completion of a Classroom (CLRM)/Virtual Instructor-Led Course (VILT): ACQ 265V/ACQ 265. Priority for CLRM/VILT courses goes to members of the Defense Acquisition Workforce. All others may find it difficult to complete this requirement if it has not already been completed at the time of enrollment in the credential.
