CCON 015 Advanced Contingency Contracting Credential

The Advanced Contingency Contracting credential develops skills for Contracting Personnel who will be running the contingency contracting support operation provided to Joint Forces across the full spectrum of military operations. Exercises focus on unique aspects of contingency operations, critical thinking skills, and the execution of appropriate contractual instruments. Attendees will gain insight into tactical and strategic Contingency Contracting Mission Support and Operational Contract Support (OCS) Doctrine.

Target Attendees
Contracting functional area personnel who are deployable to a Contingency Area of Operation (CAO) as a Chief of Contracting or Senior Contracting Official as well as contracting officers who will be awarding external support contracts from a CONUS installation. Recommended for other DoD personnel involved in Operational Contract Support (OCS) planning.

Expiration 5 years from date earned.
Credential available to all except Industry due to license requirements and priority for instructor-led courses goes to members of the Defense Acquisition Workforce.

  • Completion of the CCON 014 credential is recommended prior to registration in CCON 015.
  • Predecessor Courses may not be used to complete credential requirements.
  • This credential requires the completion of a classroom (CLRM) and/or a Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course: CON 334. Priority for CLRM/VILT courses goes to members of the Defense Acquisition Workforce. All others may find it difficult to complete this requirement if it has not already been completed at the time of enrollment in the credential.
