ACQ 404 Senior Acquisition Management Course
 Description
This classroom (CLRM) course is designed to improve DoD acquisition outcomes by engaging the most senior leaders involved in all aspects of leading the delivery of warfighting capability. General and Flag Officers, Senior Executive Service (SES or Equiv) members as well as their Senior Industry SVP/VP counterparts attend. It enables an integrated strategic level discussion of the Three Pillars of the defense acquisition system. Senior Leader discussion and engagement in a non-attribution setting with facilitated Reflect and Review sessions affords an ideal environment for sharing and integrating the perspectives among Senior Government and Industry Leaders. It emphasizes the importance of critical thinking across stakeholders, processes and capabilities necessary for the future of US National security. Attendees will engage Distinguished Guest Conversationalists and DAU Faculty in an environment allowing candid discussion of processes, current issues and initiatives. Summary discussions capture and synthesize knowledge threads of key topics. Attendees share experiences, observations, and create a leadership network with decades of Acquisition, Requirements and Resource expertise.
