CLM 044 Radio Frequency Identification
 Description
This Online Training (OLT) module is designed to provide defense contracting officers with the knowledge necessary to insert the passive Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clause into appropriate contracts, thus streamlining the DoD's receiving process. The module also reviews RFID technology and DoD's RFID implementation strategies. This module is not meant to be an all-inclusive treatment of the subject, but rather, an introduction to some of the topics related to RFID implementation issues. The knowledge gained from the module will help prepare the professional to apply RFID contractual requirements to the appropriate contracts for DoD materiel.
