Description |
The Reliability and Maintainability of military systems are integral elements of mission success and major determinants of the total ownership cost. An important objective of defense acquisition programs is to ensure that weapons systems achieve their user-defined Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) performance requirements. This Online Training (OLT) course defines Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM); explores the significant influence of Reliability and Maintainability on systems; and provides practical techniques that may be applied in an acquisition program to achieve the desired levels of Reliability and Maintainability.
