Description |
This course emphasizes the unique characteristics (including: estimating the size of the software application; converting software size to development effort; estimating the schedule for completing the development effort; and maintaining the software throughout the operational phase) in the software development environment and their effect of the cost estimating process. The course helps students develop reliable and credible software cost estimates through the use of numerous exercise designed to develop critical thinking skills as they pertain to the interrelationships of staffing, scheduling, software complexity, and technology.
