SBP 101 Introduction to Small Business Programs, Part A
 Description
This introductory, Online Training (OLT) small business course covers the small business vision, goals, culture, and values from the view of the Functional Leader, A&S, and the SECDEF. The course will review small business success stories highlighting some contributions small businesses have made to the success of the Department. The course will also provide key, baseline business processes, tools, legislation/policies, and procedures, including funded programs and socioeconomic programs. Finally, the course will discuss the expectations of small business professionals throughout the Department to help provide an understanding of where and how they fit into the Defense acquisition landscape.

  • For those with at least two years Acquisition experience, it is recommended to take SBP 101 first and then take SBP 110 and 120 in any order, even before SBP 102, due to limited seat availability of SBP 102.
