This Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course provides students with concepts and tools in Cost Monitoring, enabling them to successfully fulfill their day-to-day tasks and duties within Cost Monitoring responsibilities ensuring the government is paying fair and reasonable prices for supplier’s products/services. Students should be aware that CMC 231 was developed for DCMA and uses DCMA document templates. Class instruction concentrates upon FAR and DFARS principles which apply across all services.

- This course is restricted to DoD government civilian and military students only. DCMA students have priority in this course. Non-DCMA students may be placed in a registered status if there are seats available or added to the waitlist if there are no available seats.
Additional Notes:
- Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
- All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
- Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
- DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
