| Description |
Enables personnel to create a tailored contractual Statement of Work applicable to the appropriate acquisition life-cycle phase for their program. The workshop provides “hands-on” experience with a Statement of Work to include writing and reviewing sections of an actual Statement of Work.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to apply the following critical behaviors in the workplace:
Develop a SOW applicable for each phase of the lifecycle.
Improve contracts through effective SOWs.
Avoid cut and paste SOW development through better understanding of each section of the SOW

Personnel who may benefit from the workshop include DoD acquisition workforce members whose responsibilities include writing or reviewing SOWs. Attendees are encouraged to bring in SOWs currently in work or in early stages of formulation. Additionally, programs or activities currently developing SOWs are encouraged to attend as intact teams.
