This Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course provides DCMA functional personnel with a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Measuring Techniques. The expected outcome is to expose the students to the importance of these practices in understanding and facilitating risk analysis on government contracts. It is intended to provide the students with a learning platform that will ensure success in fulfilling day-to-day tasks and duties within the job description and apply appropriate solutions. Students should be aware that CMQ 242 was developed for DCMA and uses DCMA document templates. Class instruction concentrates upon FAR, DFARs or common principles which apply across all services.
