WSB 013 Earned Value Management Refresher  Description Earned value management is an analysis tool used to help program managers and their staffs identify and manage risks to prevent unnecessary delays to/cost overruns on acquisition programs. It also helps to determine program status required by upper level management. In order to effectively use this tool, it is important to have a firm grasp of key terminology, metrics, and scheduling principles. This course uses a combination of lecture and group exercises. Since EVM is not required for all acquisition programs, this course provides an opportunity for students to refresh their knowledge and skills related to key terms, metrics, and scheduling principles prior to attending EVM201.
