The Capability Maturity Model-Integration (CMMI) product suite includes models, training, and appraisal methods that provide a set of best practices and an improvement path for suppliers and acquirers for internal process improvement. The CMMI can be used by both government and industry to increase process capability and improve organizational maturity.
