CLM 048 Audit Readiness Requirements for DoD Equipment
 Description
The Online Training (OLT) Audit Readiness Requirements for Department of Defense (DoD) Equipment module provides key personnel, both financial and non-financial managers, with “how-to” details on the requirements and processes necessary to prepare for an audit of DoD equipment requiring capitalization. In a typical audit readiness environment, a Comptroller is usually responsible for ensuring the relative data are audit-ready. However, because of the uniqueness of DoD, it is necessary for acquisition and logistics personnel to help ensure that DoD equipment data are audit-ready. For DoD, Section 1008 of the 2002 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) established the criteria that must be met before an organization can make a representation that it is ready for audit.
