ALD 0200 Innovation
 Description
In this Online Training (OLT) course acquisition leaders will be equipped with proven frameworks and questioning techniques to foster innovative thinking, overcome barriers, and build a collaborative team environment that drives and fosters innovation.

Innovation in acquisition isn’t just about finding new gadgets or technologies – it’s about rewiring our brains to approach challenges differently. At its core, innovation in our field means implementing new or significantly improved processes, products, or methods in acquisition.

But why does innovation matter so much in acquisition? Science tells us that our brains are naturally inclined to follow established patterns aka cognitive bias. In acquisition this bias can lead to rigid thinking and cause you and your team to miss incredible opportunities.

However, by consciously and intentionally engaging in innovative practices, we can override these patterns and become more flexible and adaptive in our decision-making processes. Innovation can result in substantial cost savings, increased efficiency and better outcomes for all of your stakeholders – including the warfighters your work ultimately supports.
