BFM 0070 FIAR, Internal Controls & Financial Reporting  Description This Online Training (OLT) course is appropriate for program managers, financial management personnel, and others who need or seek to understand FIAR. It provides the appropriate level of knowledge needed to recognize the purpose, laws, processes, goals, priorities, strategy, methodology, and internal controls necessary for DoD to produce auditable financial statements and ultimately achieve “clean” (unmodified) audit opinions. The course addresses responsibilities of all involved parties from DoD governance to lowest organizational levels to provide accountability and transparency for both budgetary and mission critical asset information.
