WSM 028 Strategic Planning with Futures Thinking
 Description
This workshop uses Futures Thinking to explore and create possible and desirable futures to improve the vision for an organization.  A Six-step process is used which includes framing the organizations issues, scanning the environment, then using that information to develop alternative future scenario. The scenarios are a way of organizing statements about the future.  A vision for the organization is then created drawing from the developed scenarios.  Goals, objectives and metrics are then developed to achieve this vision.  The organization will leave the workshop with an action plan to help bring the desired future and likely circumstances into closer alignment.
