SWE 0093 Software Configuration Management 101
 Description
Welcome to the Online Training (OLT) Software Configuration Management (SCM) 101 course! Configuration Management (CM) is one of eight (8) Systems Engineering Technical Management Processes. Without proper CM, we lose track of what has been shown to work with what. We can misplace the most recent updates and have to redo work at significant cost in dollars and schedule. In software, CM also keeps one developer's work from overwriting another developer's work. While understanding and following good CM practices is critical, it is important to know how practices change when the development methodology changes.
