CMQ 1170 Inspection of Composite Structures
 Description
This online training (OLT) teaches you foundational knowledge in inspecting composite structures and overseeing contractor inspection processes. You will learn about the various inspection methods used and their capabilities, and the common flaws and defects found in composites. You will learn how to perform Government Contract Quality Assurance (GCQA) of the contractor’s nondestructive testing (NDT) processes. You will look at the three types of failures – improper design, improper manufacturing, and improper use – and some well-known failures from each category. Finally, you will learn how to the fundamentals of performing a failure analysis, including the role of GCQA as part a failure analysis.
