This Online Training (OLT) micro learning course, SWE0050 Build a Portfolio/This Product Vision, emphasizes that today's current software development processes are not responsive enough. DoD needs to embrace commercial best practices. Using a Product Vision derived from the Functional Sponsor's (operational warfighter proxy) Capability Needs Statement (CNS) or Software Initial Capabilities Document (SW-ICD) is how you ignite the modern software development processes. This micro course identifies what features are required within a Product Vision in support of the CNS/SW-ICD.
