CON 7180 Price Negotiation Memorandum
 Description
This Online Training (OLT) course covers the documents that are used to obtain approval to negotiate and document what occurred during negotiations. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) utilizes the terms pre-negotiation objective and price negotiation memorandum at FAR 15.406-1(a) and FAR 15.406-3(a), respectively. This course will address why we write Pre-Negotiation Objective Memorandum (PNOMs) and Price Negotiation Memorandum (PNM)s; provide guidance and on how to write an effective PNOM or PNM; and provide examples of expected PNOM and PNM content.

This course may be taken as a standalone course. It is also a component of the Advanced Proposal Analysis - Indirect Costs, Profit, and Documentation Credential although we recommend taking the Advanced Proposal Analysis - Direct Costs and Cost Modeling Credential first.
