| Description |
This Online Training (OLT) course aims to equip acquisition teams with the essential tools and knowledge to develop a Performance-Based Payment (PBP) structure for Fixed-Price (FP) contracts. After completing the course, learners will be able to identify terms, definitions, and policies related to contract financing; create a PBP structure that aligns with FAR and OSD policies; and utilize the OSD PBP analysis tool to evaluate a PBP financing plan. During this course, learners will review the evolution and current guidelines surrounding the use of PBPs; identify the pros and cons of this form of contract financing; acquire step-by-step guidance on creating a PBP structure; and apply what they’ve learned through practical scenario-based application. Finally, students will use the OSD PBP analysis tool to evaluate a PBP financing plan.
