This Online Training (OLT) course is specialized training for 1101s, 1102s and other series working in, or entering into a Logistics/Sustainment area who need to be aware of specific contracting nuances encountered in this arena that are not taught in foundational training.

|
The typical learner will be a civ/mil 1101 or 1102 Contracting Specialist / Contracting Officer. He/she will be executing (or will be expected to execute), routine supply and service contract actions at both small (less than SAT) and large (above TINA Threshold) dollar amounts. Examples of the types of procurement include the following: spares purchasing, supporting major weapon systems, medical supplies, inventory management, maintenance, replenishment, performance-based logistics, contractor logistics support, etc. Learners will typically be certified in contracting, having more than 12 months contracting experience. Learners can be both non-supervisory and supervisory.
