This workshop is designed for acquisition personnel seeking to tailor and streamline key acquisition program strategy and planning in support of more agile acquisition while maintaining acquisition rigor. This workshop provides participants with knowledge of the value and benefits of applying the use of a SAMP in their defense acquisition process, the policies and guidance that apply to the development of the SAMP, the resources that are available to support SAMP development, and the key considerations related to use, development, review, and approval of the SAMP, This workshop can be tailored to facilitate the development of your acquisition program's SAMP and/or your organization's SAMP guidance. Participants are expected to have some working knowledge of DoD acquisition program planning.
