The Advanced Contingency Contracting Officer’s Course, CON 8400V, provides an in-depth, comprehensive examination of Contingency Contracting at an advanced level that will help you to understand how to effectively manage contracts in a contingency environment. The course examines Contingency Contracting from the perspective of a Chief of Contracting Office, Senior Contracting Official Staff Officer, or Combatant Command Staff Officer. The course includes essential facets of contingency contracting, including risk analysis and management, contract administration, and more. The course is led by experienced Contingency Contracting Officers who assist students in learning invaluable skills and strategies needed to succeed in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment. This course is essential to the Operational Contract Support Community in that it enables the military and government personnel to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to perform in the complex environment of contingency contracting. Finally, the course improves the overall communication and collaboration within the Operational Contract Support Community of Practice. This course is a follow on to the Joint Contingency Contracting Officer’s Course, CON 8300V, and is the core course for the Advanced Contingency Contracting Credential, CCON 015.
