This virtual instructor-led training (VILT) course is about understanding and predicting the behavior of cost, price, or hours as an organization becomes more efficient at producing goods or providing services. You may know them as learning curves, experience curves, progress curves, or cost improvement curves. Analysts will use Excel to fit and model data using the unit formulation and cumulative average formulation of the learning curve. Learners will also employ the Anderlohr technique for modeling a break in production. Other topics include the transition from development to production, production rate, and the “tail-up” at the end of production.
