This optional virtual instructor led training (VILT) prep course prepares students to successfully complete the closed book, Contracting Certification Exam (CON 3990V). CON 3900V includes a pre-test, test-taking tips and strategies, detailed information regarding the Contracting Certification Exam structure, instructor-led discussions, weekly practice quizzes, self-paced instruction, and a practice exam.

CON 3900V is not required for obtaining Contracting certification; however, completion of the course is highly encouraged for all individuals planning to take the Contracting Certification Exam. For any examinee who fails the Contracting Certification Exam (CON 3990V) on their first attempt, completion of CON 3900V is mandatory, unless already completed.

- For any examinee who fails the Contracting Certification Exam (CON 3990V) on their first attempt, completion of CON 3900V is mandatory, unless already completed.
- Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
- Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
- DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
CON 3900V is comprised of 21 units of instruction. These units are either live (virtual instructor-led) sessions or self-paced learning activities. Depending on the Section/Offering of CON 3900V you register for, the scheduling of the live sessions will differ, e.g., live (virtual instructor-led) sessions may occur either in the morning or afternoon. Students must register for the CON 3900V offering that is most conducive to their schedule.
- Week 1 consists of 5 VILT hours and an estimated 5 self-paced hours.
- Week 2 consists of 3 VILT hours and an estimated 3 self-paced hours.
- Week 3 consists of 3 VILT hours and an estimated 4.5 self-paced hours.
- Week 4 consists of 3 VILT hours and an estimated 3.5 self-paced hours.
