Upper foundational level blended learning, comprised of virtual instructor-led (VILT) and performance support resources to facilitate DCMA Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO), Cost/Price Analyst, Contract Specialist, Contract Administrator (CA), Financial Analyst, or Technical Specialist (Engineer, Software, Industrial Specialist, or Quality Assurance Representative) assigned to TSN and Integrated Cost Proposal Evaluation to practice/hone their ability to analyze a problem, issue, or situation and provide meaningful input to a solution consistent with their education, certification, and experience level, using policy and/or collaboration. Participants will apply policy, guidelines, authority (FAR and DFARS), and processes that guide the performance of DCMA multifunctional personnel in executing the components of Negotiation Intelligence (NI) associated with the Integrated Cost Proposal Evaluation process. Students should be aware that CMI 130 was developed for DCMA and uses DCMA document templates. Class instruction concentrates upon FAR and DFARS principles which apply across all services.

Restriction:
- This course is restricted to DoD government civilian and military students only. DCMA students have priority in this course. Non-DCMA students may be placed in a registered status if there are seats available or added to the waitlist if there are no available seats.
Recommended Prerequisites:
- CLC 056, Analyzing Contract Costs
- CLC 058, Introduction to Contract Pricing
Additional Information:
- This course has a 1-week, instructor facilitated online period preceding the 5-day virtual instructor led training (VILT) period. As part of this course, students are required to complete pre-work and Intersessional coursework that is integral to the final course grade. It is anticipated that these components (Pre-VILT and Intersessional) will take approximately 11 hours to complete. Additional information will be provided by the instructor in the welcome messaging for each course offering.
- Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
- All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
- Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
- DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
- The CLPs assigned to this learning activity may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
