RQM 2100 Application Skills for Requirements Managers
 Description
This is an on-line training (OLT), applications-based course that emphasizes hands-on analytical and development skills. It uses actual job support tools (JSTs) to analyze, refine, and solve notional, scenario-based DoD requirements challenges when analyzing and documenting Warfighter needs and creating DoD capability requirements documents.

Target Attendees
Individuals that analyze DoD Warfighter needs and write DoD capability requirements documents. Typical knowledge areas include understanding terminology, policies, and procedures associated with developing capability requirements and familiarity with acquisition and resourcing processes that relate to requirements development. Typical job-related tasks may include: analysis of Warfighter capability needs; authoring sections of capability requirements documents, contributing as subject matter experts (SMEs) in various DoD analytical efforts; assisting in the development of DoDAF products. Typical responsibilities include leading or participating in studies, adjudicating comments, facilitating document development, and coordinating across organizations.

  • To successfully complete and receive credit for successfully completing RQM 2100, students must first access, download, complete, and email their specified digitally-signed course materials to [email protected]. After verifying course material completeness, Requirements Center faculty then send feedback for the Module 1 and Module 2 workbooks to the students via email.
  • After receiving the workbook feedback via email, students then have the option to self-grade their workbook prior to taking the 25-question, open-book exam via the DAU Cornerstone On Demand (CSOD) learning management system.
  • Send all completed coursework to [email protected] and please copy the RQM 2100 Course Manager at [email protected].
  • Any exams in this course must be passed with a minimum score of 80%.
  • There is no time limit for completing this course.
