CMA 241V Government Flight & Ground Representative (GFR/GGR)
 Description
This is a virtual instructor led training (VILT) course. Provides training required to perform surveillance of contractor’s flight and ground operations IAW the contract and DCMA INST 8210.1.

This course is intended for rated U.S. Military officers and U.S. Military aircraft maintenance officers and NCOs (E-7 or above), or Government civilians in an aviation position, to whom the Approving Authority will appoint responsibility for FAR 42.302 (a) 56; approval of contractor flights, Procedures, crewmembers, and ensuring contractor compliance with applicable provisions of the contract and DCMA INST 8210.1.

  • Walk-ins NOT authorized.
  • Completion of CLC 011 prior to registration is recommended.
  • CMA 241 replaced both CMA 211 and CMA 221 as of Oct 2017. Previous CMA 211 and CMA 221 graduates need not attend CMA 241 unless fulfilling the 5-years requalification requirement IAW DCMA INST 8210.1, paragraph 7.3.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via Cisco Webex/MS Teams,
  • Students are required to remotely participate in virtual classes beginning at 10:00 am and lasting as late as 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
  • Official registration closes 14 days prior to the class start date.
  • All offerings are Eastern Standard Time.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via Cisco Webex/MS Teams, supplemented with Blackboard and e-mail.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date and should not schedule themselves for any other work-related activity while participating in this class.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
