CMA 241V Government Flight & Ground Representative (GFR/GGR)

This virtual instructor led training (VILT) course provides training required prior to GFR/G-GFR appointment to audit contractor’s flight and ground operations IAW the contract and DCMA INST 8210-1.

This course is intended for rated U.S. Military officers and U.S. Military aircraft maintenance officers or NCOs (E-7 or above), or former U.S. Military aircraft maintenance officer/NCO Government civilian, to whom the Approving Authority will appoint responsibility for FAR 42.302 (a) 56; approval of contractor flights, Procedures, crewmembers, and ensuring contractor compliance with applicable provisions of the contract and DCMA INST 8210-1.

Additional Notes:
  • CMA 241 replaced both CMA 211 and CMA 221. Previous CMA 211 and CMA 221 graduates need not attend CMA 241 unless fulfilling the 3-5 year re-qualification requirement IAW DCMA INST 8210-1.
  • Students are required to remotely participate in virtual classes beginning at 10:00 am and lasting as late as 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.
  • All offerings are Eastern Standard Time.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
  • The CLPs assigned to this learning activity may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
