CLM 002 Intellectual Property (IP) Valuation
This module addresses the basic concepts of IP valuation and provides the acquisition workforce with tools to address issues critical to successful acquisitions, including when IP valuations should occur during the Acquisition Life Cycle, how contractors place a value on their IP, and the importance of IP valuation and licensing rights in developing an IP Strategy, in accordance with DODI 5010.44.

DoD acquisition professionals (e.g. program managers, contracting officers, technical subject matter experts, contracting and IP attorneys, budget and financial) charged with ensuring that the DoD acquires the necessary IP deliverables and associated licensing rights has the appropriate legal rights to the intellectual property necessary to provide the best technology to our warfighters.
