FAC 889 Section 889: Prohibition on Telecomm & Video Equip
 Description
Gain an understanding of Section 889 of Public Law 115-232 which prohibits the purchase and use of certain telecommunications and video surveillance services or equipment from specific companies based in the People’s Republic of China. Effective implementation of Section 889 is part of the critical response of the United States to the national security threat posed by certain technology providers. Understand the new FAR requirements, the implementation guidance, exceptions and waiver processes, reporting requirements and enforcement of the rule.
