 Description
In this virtual instructor-lead (VILT) course, you will apply basic knowledge of the legislation, policies, acquisition process, and market research techniques required to advise stakeholders effectively, and to advocate for small business participation in defense acquisitions, and to educate small businesses on doing business with the Department of Defense (DoD).

    Notes
  • For those with at least 2 years of Acquisition experience, it is recommended to take SBP 110 and SBP 120 in any order, even before taking SBP 102/102V.
  • Pre-work required (approx. 4 hours) / Walk-ins NOT authorized / Pre-work accessible on DAU Public
  • Virtual classes are conducted via Cisco Webex, supplemented with Blackboard and e-mail.
  • Students are required to remotely participate in virtual classes beginning at 8:00 am and lasting as late as 1:00 pm Monday-Friday
  • Official registration closes seven (7) days prior to the class start date.
  • All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
  • Cisco Webex connections include: toll-free commercial phone lines, commercial phone lines , or Voice over Internet Protocol. DSN connections are not supported; DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
