Description |
This Online Training (OLT) course addresses two fundamental and interrelated types of work-breakdown structures: the program work-breakdown structure that is developed by a program management office and the contract work-breakdown structure that is developed by a contractor. The work-breakdown structure summarizes data for successive levels of management and provides information on the projected, actual, and current status of the program. The work-breakdown structure keeps the program's status constantly visible so that the program manager, in cooperation with the contractor, can identify and implement changes necessary to assure desired performance, schedule, and cost.
