CLC 068 Introduction to Shipping Food Aid Cargoes by Sea
This course provides a basic explanation of ocean transportation as it relates to Humanitarian and Disaster Assistance (HADR) food aid programs. It discusses the actions of the Federal Agencies that manage this transportation, and describes the U.S.-flag vessel use requirement for 50% of such cargo, as required by U.S. law.
