| Description |
This executive level workshop provides each attendee with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a Source Selection Authority (SSA). Through real world exercises, simulations, and lessons the learners will practice SSA responsibilities in a non-attribution environment. Specific lesson cover: acquisition ethics; selection approaches (Full Tradeoff, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, Value Adjusted Total Evaluated Price); critical thinking; evaluation factor development; discussions vs clarifications; competitive range determinations; writing a source selection decision document; debriefings; records retention, and protests.
Upon completion, participants can expect the following critical performance behaviors to result from this workshop:
Select appropriate source selection procedures for the acquisition that they are executing
Design a Source Selection Organization that is appropriate for executing their source selection
Determine if the proposed source selection evaluation factors and subfactors are appropriate for the acquisition
Write a sound Source Selection Decision Document (SSDD) substantiation their award decision
